The Complete Idiot's Guide to Beekeeping

Hi everyone,

Here is the general outline of dates and times for the 2010 intensive and conference. We're still working out the details of what talks will go where but this will give you an idea of the schedule.

2-day Intensive (Wed. July 28- Thurs. July 29)

Each of the two days will begin with breakfast at 8 am. We'll begin the program at 9 am. Each day will have a combination of classroom lecture, demonstration and outdoor hive demonstration.
We'll have breaks mid morning and mid afternoon and an hour break for lunch. Dinner will be at ~6 pm followed by a short evening program and a campfire.

Day 2 dinner will be shared with the 3 day conference attendees. Folks who are signed up for the 2-day conference only are invited to listen to the after dinner program in the overflow space (lobby and outdoor patio area) where we will have sound piped in.


Conference (Thurs. July 29- Sun. Aug. 1)

Conference begins with dinner on Thursday ~ 6pm followed by an evening program and campfire.

Friday, Saturday and Sunday will all begin with breakfast at 8 am.

Talks will begin at 9 am. We'll have breaks mid morning and afternoon and an hour for lunch followed by outdoor hive openings each day (weather permitting). Dinner will be at ~ 6 pm followed by a short evening program and campfire.

The conference will end Sunday evening with dinner.

We'll post an updated schedule as soon as it's ready...tentative menu, too...
